Through the toolbar displayed on your Windows computer's taskbar, you will be able to see your system resource usage at a glance. This will save you time and space as you no longer need to open your task manager to be able to monitor your system's performance. This open-source program can be downloaded and used free-of-charge.
4-bar monitor tool
Installing this desktop tool is a quick and easy process. To start using this software solution, you will only need to go to your toolbar menu by simply right-clicking in your desktop taskbar. From there, you will select the 'Taskbar Monitor' option. This utility will then appear beside your system tray in 4-bar style. Each of these bars will contain a graphical representation that corresponds to a system resource on your PC.
Furthermore, these bars will have a number at the top that will indicate the statistics for each resource, giving you more details about each one. The first bar displays the CPU usage in percentage while the second bar will show the memory usage in gigabytes. On the other hand, the third bar will represent the current disk usage in megabytes while the fourth and last bar will exhibit your computer's network usage in kilobytes.
You can customize the toolbar if you want to do so. Just right-click on the displayed toolbar and you will be prompted with a menu wherein you can alter the meters that are shown in the taskbar. Aside from that, there are no further customization options available for this program to modify though. Thus, changing its appearances such as its text, color, or size, will not be possible here.
